Bahar Ata-Abadi

Dr. Bahar Ata-Abadi, DDS is a compassionate and experienced Iranian-American dentist practicing in Scottsdale, Arizona. With over 20 years of dedication to her craft, Dr. Ata-Abadi is known for her gentle care, high ethical standards, and personal connection with each patient. Her goal is to transform the dental experience into something positive, supportive, and even uplifting.

Dr. Ata-Abadi has helped countless patients relieve pain, restore functionality, and gain confidence through healthy, radiant smiles. She believes in creating a stress-free environment where patients feel heard and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Shortly after earning her DDS, she moved to Arizona and co-founded a private practice with her husband, Dr. Kamran Ata-Abadi. Together, they have built a family-friendly clinic that values patient relationships as much as clinical excellence.

Dr. Ata-Abadi entered the field with a strong motivation: to change outdated perceptions of dentistry and provide a more compassionate approach, especially as a woman in a field that was, at the time, male-dominated. She offers individual-focused care, listening deeply to each patient's needs and working with them to build treatment plans based on mutual trust and understanding.

Dr. Ata-Abadi is deeply involved in humanitarian work. As a former refugee herself, she provides dental care to refugees through a Phoenix-based community outreach program. She also volunteers with the Arizona Mission of Mercy, offering free dental services to underserved populations across the state.

Originally from Kabul, Afghanistan, Dr. Ata-Abadi spent time in Hamburg, Germany before settling in the United States. Today, she lives in Scottsdale with her husband and two children. Her daughter is a singer-songwriter attending college, while her son is in high school. When she's not practicing dentistry, Dr. Ata-Abadi enjoys reading, supporting her children's passions, and spending time with family.
