Kianoush Alem

Dr. Kianoush Alem is a highly accomplished Iranian-American dentist with over 40 years of professional experience in restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, TMJ treatment, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants. Based in Washington DC, she has spent decades committed to clinical excellence and education in both Iran and the United States. Dr. Alem is known not only for her extensive knowledge but also for her compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Dr. Alem received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the National University of Iran and later earned a masters degree in restorative dentistry and occlusion from the prestigious University of Michigan in 1977. Her dedication to learning continued through extensive training in prosthodontics, cosmetic and implant dentistry, computerized dental systems, and the treatment of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction.
