Nader Ehsani

Dr. Nader Ehsani is a board-certified orthodontist who combines precision, innovation, and compassion to deliver exceptional orthodontic care. He treats both children and adults, and has successfully transformed thousands of smiles throughout the San Diego area. His deep expertise in both engineering and orthodontics gives him a unique edge in treating complex cases with exacting accuracy.

Dr. Ehsani received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he also earned minors in Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontology, and Community Dentistry. He completed his specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the prestigious Eastman Institute for Oral Health, University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.

In addition to his dental education, Dr. Ehsani holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering, providing him with a biomechanical and analytical foundation rarely seen in his profession. He graduated high school at the age of 14 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering by age 18.

Dr. Ehsani is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), a status that reflects his elite level of training and dedication to continued professional development. Board certification requires rigorous written and clinical examinations and must be maintained through periodic reevaluation.

Giving back is central to Dr. Ehsani’s philosophy. He and his team have volunteered countless hours to treat underserved children in San Diego and in border communities in Mexico. He participates in organized dentistry’s outreach programs through the ADA and AAO foundations, and has treated patients from refugee centers at no cost.

Dr. Ehsani also organizes team-building community events with his staff, many of whom have participated in marathons and charity races for organizations such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He fosters a supportive and collaborative work environment where staff performance and continuing education are priorities.
