Zahra Ashrafi

Dr. Zahra Ashrafi, DDS, is a highly trained and compassionate Iranian-American dentist serving patients in Delaware. With her strong educational foundation, clinical expertise, and family-oriented approach to care, Dr. Ashrafi has earned a reputation for being both skilled and personable. Her gentle manner and attention to detail have helped countless patients achieve healthy and confident smiles.

Although born in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Ashrafi has lived much of her life in Maryland and Delaware and is proud to serve patients in the local community. She holds a degree in Microbiology from the University of Maryland at College Park and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dentistry—one of the top dental schools in the country. She completed her residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania, where she gained advanced clinical experience.

Dr. Zahra Ashrafi is married to Dr. Ganjavian, and together they have two young sons. She values quality time with her family and enjoys staying active in her community. Outside of her dental work, she’s passionate about education, health equity, and providing care to underserved populations.
